Social Media Manager

We’re seeking a multi-talented Social Media Manager with a passion for marketing, communications, and visual storytelling to assist with copywriting, content planning, and social media management for some of the most exciting hospitality concepts in Central Texas.

A day in the life might look like writing captions for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter posts, browsing our content library for the perfect photo while you're planning social media calendars, stitching together video clips and finding the perfect track to match, hand modeling at a hot chicken joint, putting together a newsletter for your favorite restaurant, or any combination of the above.

This is a fast paced job in a high volume restaurant marketing agency. You'll need to be organized, proactive, and self-reliant to be successful in this role.

What Does a Social Media Manager do at Consumable Content?

Social Media Managers plan, create, and publish social media content for a wide variety of food, beverage, and hospitality brands — combining their talents for copywriting and content marketing with their knowledge of social media trends and best practices to create thoughtful, effective programming that brings meaningful results to their clients and their team.

They work under the supervision of an Account Manager, who provides strategic and creative direction on behalf of the Client, with support from a Social Media Marketing Assistant, who helps with scheduling content and manages incoming comments, messages, and reviews.

In addition to maintaining monthly content calendars, Social Media Managers work with their account team to create newsletters, paid advertising campaigns, and other supplementary content.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We're looking for someone with at least one year of experience working in Social Media Management, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine passion for food and hospitality.

Starting salary is offered at $40,000 per year with a flexible PTO program and health benefits available as soon as January 1st, 2023.
